Lynnwood Little League team eliminated from World Series

The dream of a Little League World Series championship came to an end Monday for the Pacific Little League All Stars from Lynnwood and Edmonds.

Pearland, Texas eliminated Pacific, 11-4, in a game that saw the Northwest Region champions fall behind 5-0, close to 5-3, then watch as Texas pulled away with five runs in the sixth inning to clinch the victory.

The Washington champs are expected to remain in Williamsport, Pa. for the rest of the week to enjoy the games before returning home, mom April Zepeda tells KIRO Radio.
