Yesterday, NBC broke an exclusive story about the president’s long-time family physician, New York doctor Harold Bornstein. He’s the doctor who back in 2015 wrote that glowing medical evaluation which described the president’s lab results as “astonishingly excellent.”

The evaluation famously concluded, “If elected, Mr. Trump, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”

It later came out Dr. Bornstein had dashed off the letter in about five minutes while a black limo waited outside to deliver it … but he explained that after treating Trump for 39 years he knew his health by heart.

Well, Dr. Bornstein has since had a falling out with Mr. Trump, and now he tells NBC that the glowing letter he wrote in 2015 – so glowing that it sounded like it could have been written by Trump himself – WAS written by Trump himself! Trump dictated it, he said.

That’s the exclusive story. And no disrespect to NBC — it’s a great exclusive — but is anybody surprised?

Remember what the president said at the Republican National Convention?

“I alone can fix it.”

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?
