The Washington State Patrol is seeking help from the public after a drive-by shooting on I-405 injured one person during the Thursday evening commute.
Traffic was snarled around Southcenter after the drive-by shooting. It occurred on southbound I-405 around 4:30 p.m. Tukwila police report that the incident is the result of road rage.
One victim, a man in his 40s, was shot in the hand or the arm. He was conscious and alert when he was transported to an area hospital.
Police are searching for a gold Toyota Camry or Corolla that could be involved. The Tukwila Police Department is investigating.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911.
