Boater hits sunken car in Lake Washington
KIRO Radio
A big surprise for a boater over the weekend, in the waters near Seward Park on Sunday.
You expect to find all kinds of things in Lake Washington these days, but this wasn't a shoe or a shopping cart. Imagine you're just minding your own business, when your boat hits the roof a submerged car.
Seattle Police were called and they discovered the four-door sedan had been stolen. Harbor and Patrol units found the car off the Atlantic City boat ramp, and it was pulled from the water and towed away.
