Boeing plant death ruled a suicide

The death Wednesday had been reported as an industrial accident with machinery, but police called it suspicious.

KOMO-TV reports the autopsy found the 50-year-old design engineer died of a sharp force injury to the neck.

  I don't mean to seem insensitive here, I just wanted to introduce my theory. I'm wondering if he was suicidal and didn't commit suicide in a more recognizable manner because he knew that most life insurance policies will not pay out for a death by suicide. He was probably thinking of his family in trying to make it appear like an industrial accident so they could receive his life insurance benefits. Either way, this is a heartbreaking loss for his family and friends, and my condolences go out to them.

  This poor guy had go resort to such a gruesome technique to what I believe was an industrial accident wanna be. For insurance purposes that would seem congruent. I feel for his family and can't imagine what they must feel. I can't imagine what he must have felt...yuck! The neck?

  I realize people want to know, but there are more tactful and less grim ways. Besides, there is family that could be spared, and an ongoing investigation. Just sayin'....
