Seattle mayor's race dead even

You can't wait any longer. Your election ballots are due Tuesday, and it's a statistical dead heat in the race for Seattle mayor.

It looks like a lot of you are waiting until the last minute to get your ballot in. The latest KING-TV Survey USA poll shows 12 percent undecided voters in the mayor's race.

Joe Mallahan leads Mike McGinn by two points (45 percent to 43 percent), but the margin of error is four points. This race is basically even.

That's not the case in the King County executive's race. The poll shows Dow Constantine ahead of Susan Hutchison by ten points (53 percent to 43 percent).

This is the first time Constantine has led Hutchison in a KING-TV Survey USA poll.

The first ballot results will be released about 8:15 pm Tuesday.
