Ron Upshaw and Don O'Neill Honored with Citizen Appreciation Award from the Seattle Police Officers Guild
News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM hosts of "The Ron and Don Show," (M-F, 3p-7p) Ron Upshaw and Don O'Neill, were awarded the Citizen Appreciation Award by the Seattle Police Officers Guild on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 for their support following the slaying of Seattle Police Officer, Timothy Brenton, and assistance in helping to locate his alleged killer through extensive continuing coverage of the story.

In response to the tragic shootings of four Lakewood Police Officers, News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM is asking all area residents and businesses of every kind to join together and display blue lights in any window, or on any building, next Tuesday, December 8th, as a sign of support for the fallen police officers and those officers who continue to protect and serve our communities.

DMC unveils new digital media and broadcast operating divisions
Deseret Management Corporation (DMC) today announced the creation of two new operating divisions - the Deseret Digital Media Division (DDM) and the KSL Broadcast Division (KSL), the latter including the flagship stations KSL Television and KSL NewsRadio. Deseret Digital Media and the KSL Broadcast Division have been created to better leverage the strengths and journalistic professionalism by which DMC's communications companies, which also include the Deseret News and Deseret Book, serve the Salt Lake City market, Utah's communities, and other interested national and international audiences.
