Hutchinson's departure still recalled in Seattle

It's been 3 1/2 years since the Vikings outfoxed the Seahawks with disputed "poison pill" provisions in a contract offer to Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson that Seattle was unable to match.

The Seahawks took wide receiver Nate Burleson away from Minnesota with the same tricks a week later.

The net results: Minnesota won, Seattle mostly lost - and the NFL still has contractual loopholes ripe for exploitation.

One guy who is happy Hutchinson is in Minnesota: Star runner Adrian Peterson.

Peterson says "if you could see me now, I am doing a dance" over having Hutchinson clearing holes for him. He can't believe Seattle let him go, adding "he's a beast."

Please read this story loudly to Seattle Seahawks FO....
I wish FO listen to Hutchison more than our MVP RB...who was thinking he was the sole contributor for Seahawks SB run...didnt think it was the HOF O-line with WJones, Robbie, Chris gray, Hutchison which helped him gain those MVP yards....this is the most idiotic decison ever made by any FO in the NFL to let go the future HOF calibre guard from the team to save $40000 in this era of multimillion $$$ contracts.

Seattle should have matched the offer, Hutch was worth every guaranteed penny.

do u notice Hutch will help anyone in the Vikings team...
who gets the ball in hand and run towards the end zone, I have seen his plays he is helping their RBs and their Wide receivers in the blocking protections and run towards the end zone, that should be the level of play from the guard and he is worth every penny Vikings paying him. Unfortunately for Seattle our FO choose garbage and on the street guys to play in the O-line and end result is 3-6 after 9 games.

    Hutchinson
I've been a proud Seattle Seahawk fan and season ticket holder for over 30 yrs. Its been 3 1/2 yrs now get over it, move on! you can b***h about it all you want, its not going to bring him back to Seattle. FYI: The first 2 yrs Hutch was with Minnesota they didn't even make it to the playoffs and the 3rd yr they were eliminated in the first round by the Eagles. I think Minnesota's success this season is because of Bret Farve!!!

    Forget about playoffs and...
who deserve's the credit for the Vike's success. The bottom line is, with a guy like Hutch and Walt (or Mckinney in their case), you NEVER have to worry about that side of the line. Hutch is worth every dime he makes, and right now, with the state of our team, he is worth double that to us. Big time loss, maybe the biggest free agent departure ever to leave the Hawks.
