Matt Hasselbeck had so much fun and learned so much from Brett Favre in Green Bay, he says he would have been content at the time to remain a backup to the icon instead of becoming a three-time Pro Bowl quarterback in Seattle.

Favre's protege calls his first three years in Green Bay a decade ago with Mike Holmgren as coach, Andy Reid as quarterbacks coach and Favre running the offense "Harvard Business School for a young quarterback."

On Sunday in Minnesota, Hasselbeck will face his mentor for the sixth time since he became Seattle's quarterback in 2001. He is 1-4 against Favre.

Hasselbeck says "I felt like I should have been paying (the Packers)" for all he received from Favre.

    Yeah..
Everyone in Seattle wishes you would have stayed a back up in Green Bay too. And if that was Harvard Business School For QB, then Hasselback (Overrated, Never Hall Of Fame Worthy) get's an F for FAIL.

    QBs
Alright if Hasselbeck is so bad for Seattle then please list any quarterbacks we have had that are better. At least we went to a Super Bowl with Hasselbeck. Who's your guy? If you say Dave Krieg you are immediately considered foolish....See NFL records for most fumbles... Krieg is #2 in all time fumbles (153), #2 for most fumbles in a game (6), and #3 for most fumbles in a season (18) Crappy Seattle QBs that come to mind: Dave Krieg Rick Mirer Jon Kitna Trent Dilfer John Friesz Warren Moon (prior to age 40 he was good but we didn't pick him up until he was at the time...the oldest starter in nfl history...age 41)

    Are you being sarcastic Levy?
Because I cannot begin to take you serious if you think Hass' time here is anything close to over rated. This guy took the Seahawks to the Superbowl. How many QB's in the league today have started a superbowl? I can only think of around 8. This guy very well be the most successful team sport athlete Seattle has ever had. I don't think he is HOF worthy, but never expected that either. But to suggest he is overrated, when no one else has accomplished the things he did in Seattle is, in my opinion, wrong.
