Injury Report
Matt Hasselbeck and Will Herring were back at full speed during Thursday's practice. A new addition to the injury report is Ken Lucas who was limited but did participate with a neck injury.
Sean Locklear once again took part in non contact and individual drills. And for the second straight day Ben Obomanu watched from the sideline resting a sore oblique.

Hasselbeck Sees Mora Means Business
After Jim Mora's unfiltered message that he was willing to make roster changes to get the Seahawks fading season turned around, Matt Hasselbeck knew Mora meant business. And when the Seahawks cut three players on Tuesday, Hasselbeck was not surprised. "Those of us who have been around, you know roster moves are going to happen after you start like we started. He said it, that they were going to make some changes and do some evaluating, and they did it. His words weren't hollow. He backed it up."

Matt says his recovery from the broken ribs continues to improve, that he feels better than he did last week...kinda. "I feel a little bit better, to similar. It's week to week," he said snickering.
Gus Bradley On Stafford, Pass Rush
Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley says they won't put any additional emphasis on rushing the passer Sunday against Detroit, even with a rookie quarterback in Matthew Stafford. "That's out goal every week," Bradley said. He called Stafford a good decision maker, and one of those wise, and frequent, decisions is to find Calvin Johnson, saying "The big reason for him is he just look's out to Johnson. I'll throw it out to him and it's a 50-50 ball."

As for the Seahawks pass rush in general, or lack there of from the front four, Bradley says the decision to blitz more defenders will still depend on the front four's effectiveness (or ineffectiveness).
"Last week we blitzed a little more on third down. We might have brought pressure 12 or 13 times in that situation. I think it's just getting a feel for the game, how you are doing getting pressure with four, if you need to add another guy. Sometimes it depends on the routes that you're seeing. Maybe we match up better with man coverage than we do in zone coverage. If we are going to play man (coverage) we like to bring the extra rusher," Bradley said.
