Diana Taurasi added 22 points and blocked four shots for the Mercury, who scored the first 11 points of the second half after trailing 50-47 at the break. They held off a late Seattle charge with an 11-point run in the fourth quarter to avenge a loss to the Storm 10 days ago.
Swin Cash had 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists to lead Seattle.
Seattle missed 14 of its first 17 shots in the second half after leading much of the first 20 minutes.
