Jr Has Knee Surgery

Was just handed the release. Ken Griffey Jr underwent an outpatient procedure today to remove a bone spur from his left knee. Normal recovery time is said to be from four to six weeks.

    Great!! Maybe he can steal second base next year. Ha! If you talk to him I wish him a speedy, very speedy, recovery. Hope that tickles him.

    This may be an major factor in his plans next year. Love to see him stay in an advisory/consultant capacity if he decides to opt out. Where can he truly fit in, I wonder??
