This week enjoy a free lunch, a chowder cook-off, and a night in the Caribbean. You can also grab a pre-Thanksgiving meal and watch a movie that showcases Northwest locals who are making a difference in today's food world.

Watch the Good Food, an inviting tour of sustainable food and farming in the Pacific Northwest. The film introduces farmers, ranchers, stores, restaurants and public leaders who are helping to bring good food to regional tables, like Brooke and Sam Lucy of Bluebird Grain Farms, George and Eiko Vojkovich of Skagit River Ranch and Seth Caswell, the president of Seattle Chefs Collaborative.
When: Thursday, November 12, at 10 p.m. on KCTS 9 and KYVE 47
Where: In the comfort of your own home
Admission: Free

Free lunch at Sip from the wine Bar and restaurant
Free Sweet Roll Sliders; Three mini sirloin burgers topped with pepper mayonnaise and jack cheese served on Hawaiian sweet rolls, includes fries

Chowder Cook-Off at Union Benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The chefs include: Ethan Stowell, Heather Earnhardt and David Howe (Volunteer Park Cafe), Dan Braun (Oliver's Twist), Brain Cartenuto (Cantinetta), Vuong Loc (Portage), and Craig Hetherington (TASTE). The lone food enthusiast battling against the chefs is Darren "always in the top three" Vengrof
When: November 15th, 6pm
Where: Union, 1400 1st Ave. Seattle
Admission: $50/person and includes all the chowder you can eat, green salad, crusty bread, and tap beer

A Night in the Caribbean at SIFF
Enjoy Caribbean-themed food and specialty rum cocktails all night, a live steel drum band, and DJ Verse spinning Caribbean and Island dance music later in the night.

Whole Foods Thanksgiving Party
For a minimum donation of $10 you'll be able to enjoy a small traditional Thanksgiving meal including roasted turkey with all the trimmings.
When: Thursday, November 12 from 5-8pm
