The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present its FIRST SPECIAL JOINT PRESENTATON with its Newly Renamed LAKEWOOD INSTITUTE of THEATRE — Back by Popular Demand...The Holiday Favorite "THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER!" The Play will be performed on Thursdays at 7:00pm, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. The will also be a Very Special CHRISTMAS EVE PRESENTATION at 2:00pm on DECEMBER 24th!

The show has a HUGE CAST of Actors and Actres…both young and old…from old favorites to new. Our cast includes returning actors MARK PETERSON as Bob Bradley (From Last Season’s THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940) and CASSIE CAHILL as Helen Armstrong (From This Season’s SHERLOCK’S LAST CASE).

This show will also feature the return of actor/director MARTY MACKENZIE. Mr. Mackenzie recently appeared as Erroneous in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM and directed AN APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH during our 2005 Season.

Presented with views from all sides, in the Lakewood Playhouse's unique "in the round" seating, this production of "THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER" will help you feel like as if you are "inside" the show

ABOUT THE SHOW: "The Little Angels make a return visit to the Playhouse with their special spin on the Christmas Holiday!" In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids-- probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem-- and the fun-- when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!
