Archaeologist Greg Burtchard will discuss how research at Mount Rainier National Park indicates that people have used the mountain’s alpine and subalpine landscapes for thousands of years. He will also summarize the mountain’s archaeological record in a 2 p.m. talk Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, 319 2nd Ave. S, in Pioneer Square historic district.
