College20s has successfully hosted two regional film festivals since 2011 at Westgate Chapel in Edmonds. We have had over 400 in attendance and this year we hope to fill the Edmonds Center for the Arts. The Festival will premiere original films written, filmed, directed and produced by local film makers. Join us for a night to enjoy films themed "Sending Hope" and to join the fight against sex trafficking.
Proceeds from this event will be given to support Abolition International, an organization dedicated to the eradication of sex trafficking and the exploitation of women and children. There are more slaves in the world today than at any other point in history. Sex Trafficking is the second largest illegal industry in the world with an estimated 27 million slaves.
Purchase tickets at brownpapertickets.com/event/338877 or at College20s services on Thursday nights at 7pm at Westgate Chapel.
See vimeo.com/channels/348860 for a few films submitted to Film Festival 2012.
