Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event world-wide, and we have an event here in Edmonds that takes place June 1-2 at Edmonds-Woodway High School. Although it sounds like a running event, Relay For Life is actually a walk, and literally anyone can participate. People from all around Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace form teams and raise money together leading up to the Relay. Then everyone comes together for a night of fun that celebrates cancer survivorship, memorializes loved ones lost to cancer and helps fight back against the disease. It's a really fun and inspirational event! Relay is an overnight event, and ours takes place from 12noon Saturday June 1 - 9am Sunday June 2. Relaying all night is symbolic of a cancer patient's fight against cancer, but don't worry, we will keep you motivated for the entire time with all kinds of food, activities and entertainment! Join us for this great community event- form or join a team and help find a cure!
