Snoqualmie Arbor Day Celebration

Railroad Park Gazebo in Historic Snoqualmie, 7971 Railroad Ave SE
The City of Snoqualmie and the Snoqualmie community will celebrate Arbor Day this Saturday! Join in the activities. To begin, Council Member Bob Jeans will talk about the city’s commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our community and Snoqualmie's participation in the Tree City USA program. Each child at the event will receive a free tree seedling to plant at home. Audrey Estaben of Snoqualmie Elementary School will receive an award for her winning poster for the "Trees are Terrific and Energy Wise" poster contest.

Arbor Day Tree Planting Event
Saturday, April 20, 11:45 a.m.
Two locations: Downtown and Snoqualmie Ridge (see following)
Adults and children are welcome at the Arbor Day tree planting events. Wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, gloves, and rain gear if needed. Downtown location: Meet at the King Street parking lot across from the Railroad Park Gazebo to plant trees at Sandy Cover Park. Snoqualmie Ridge location: Meet at 9321 Nye Ave SE (open space; signs will be posted). RSVP optional but appreciated: or 425-766-2452
Arbor Day Free Tree Clinic

Railroad Park Gazebo in Historic Snoqualmie, 7971 Railroad Ave SE
Have a tree question? There will be a free one-hour tree clinic at the Railroad Park Gazebo with City of Snoqualmie Arborist Phil Bennett at 1.45 p.m. Planting, pruning, disease, and hazard questions will be answered. If you are interested in this event, bring a photo of your tree with the question or concern. Please RSVP: or 425-766-2452.
