The SuperHero 5k is a fun run/walk to raise funds for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research. With three heats to choose from (Timed, Casual, and Stroll & Roll), there is something for everyone!
MDA’s ALS Division is a world leader in the search for treatments and therapies for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS – or Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Locally, MDA also provides expert health care at the MDA clinic located at the University of Washington. Timely and regular updates about research progress can be found on ALS News Online.
MDA also offers practical support in locating and repairing durable medical
equipment, and connecting individuals with other members of the ALS community through support groups and online social networks.
The SuperHero 5k is an inclusive community event to raise funds to support local MDA services and life-saving research.
