$30 (On-Site Registration)
Nordstrom and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) are teaming up again to host the 31st annual Nordstrom Beat the Bridge athletic race and fundraiser at Husky Stadium. More than 10,000 participants are expected to participate on Sunday, May 19 to help raise $1.5 million for the Northwest Chapter of JDRF. Since its inception in 1983, the event has raised more than $13 million to help find a cure, better treat and prevent Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
Beat the Bridge consists of healthy fun for the whole family, including a competitive 8K run and wheelchair race, as well as non-competitive 4-mile family walk, 1-mile fun run, and a Diaper Derby for toddlers. Proceeds from the event, including registration fees and pledges, benefit the Northwest chapter of JDRF.
