From blacksmiths to banjo makers, each weekend a different artisan will be "in-residence" at Fort Nisqually with displays and demonstrations. Most will also offer visitors the opportunity to try their hand at the specific art form. For the complete schedule, please visit www.fortnisqually.org

Crafts of the Past is sponsored by the Fort Nisqually Foundation and made possible by grants from the Nisqually Indian Tribe and Tacoma Arts Commission. It is free with paid admission.

Located in Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum is a restoration of the 19th century Hudson's Bay Company outpost on Puget Sound. Nine buildings are open to the public, including the Granary and the Factors House, both National Historic Landmarks, and a Visitor Center with Museum Store.
