Ever had the urge to carve something in stone, see how it's done, or what artists are doing with stone?
The Northwest Stone Sculptors Association welcomes back acclaimed contemporary jade and granite sculptor Deborah Wilson, who will demonstrate small scale Jade carving during our 26th Annual International Stone Carving Symposium. Featured Guest Artists Norbert Jaeger from Germany, and Claire McArdle will share their techniques for sculpting in granite and figurative sculpture in marble. Learn design basics with Meredith Earls and our Beginners Carving Tent offer hands on, one-on-one instruction with Tamara Buchanan and Ruth Meuseler.

Artists from around the world will attend this summer's annual symposium. Comprehensive talks on tools, design, instruction and field mentoring fill 8 days of our 26th Annual Carving Symposium for beginner to experienced stone carvers.
