Kiehl's is embarking on its 4th annual LifeRide for amfAR, a nine-day philanthropic motorcycle ride from Seattle to Los Angeles that will raise funds and awareness for amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Seattle has the honor of kicking off this year's ride with a public event at the Kiehl's store in University Village where the public is invited to meet the riders – including celebrities such as John Corbett and Gilles Marini – learn more about amfAR, and contribute to the cause. The event will include photo and autograph opps with all the riders, a "fuel up" snack bar with some of Seattle's favorite foods and drinks, a check presentation and shopping discounts throughout the day that benefit amfAR. More information about LifeRide and how to get involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS is available at www.kiehls.com.
Notable LifeRide participants this year include: Kiehl's USA President Chris Salgardo, amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost, actors John Corbett, Gilles Marini, Kurt Yaeger and Grant Reynolds, World Cup Champion rugby player Ben Cohen, photographer Jon Beck, and artist Conrad Leach.
