Adrienne Sherman: “Mysterieux” - New Oil Paintings
California artist Adrienne Sherman’s new work continues to explore the relationship of man to beast, and earlier civilizations contrasted with historical figures or characters from literature. This recent series of works is comprised of oils that are meticulously rendered and modest in scale.
Douglas Bosley: Artificial Life in the Autonomous Republic
These recent mezzotints focus on a colony of micro-robots living in the Grand Range area. This work interprets the mass-extinction we are living through as a speciation point and investigates what roll artificial life may have as a new domain on the tree of life.
