Details: The goal of the Latino Community Fund (LCF) Summit is to highlight policy changes and convene service providers, community leaders, policymakers, and others around an emerging issue that impacts the Latino community. The Summit is an annual event that sparks conversations and provides solutions-oriented training.
This event is open to the public. Join us for a day full of workshops, networking, and celebrating. For LCF members, grasstops leaders, direct service providers, policymakers, students and other emerging leaders, funding partners, and anyone who is interested in improving the well being of Latino communities in Washington.
This year's Summit is a one-day event with an opening plenary, 3 workshop tracts, closing with Lunch and Keynote Speaker.
Topics include Implementation of the Affordable Care Act in WA, Opportunities for Achieving Health Equity: A Legislative Update, Toxic Free Kids, among others. Agenda features experts and community leaders from Group Health Research Institute, Public Health Seattle King County, Washington Environmental Council, Washington Toxics Coalition, Latino Community Fund of Washington and more.
