"GIFT FOR LIFE" HOLIDAY SAMPLE SALE TO BENEFIT THOSE AFFECTED BY AIDS

SEATTLE – October 28, 2013 – Park Avenue Agents will host its 17th "Gift for Life" sample sale benefiting DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS from November 9th 2013 – January 12th 2014.

Donated toys, books, home accessories, gifts and much will be available to the public at wholesale prices with all proceeds going to Gift for Life/DIFFA. This year, the sale is located at 22824 100th Ave W, Edmonds, WA 98020 in a shopping center behind QFC, next to Goodwill.
In 2011, the last time this biennial sale took place, Park Avenue Agents was able to donate $30,000 to providing treatment and direct care to those affected by AIDS. Since 1992, this sale has raised more than $300,000 for the cause.
This year, merchandise has been donated from many Pacific Market Center wholesale showrooms, independent retailers, such as City Peoples Mercantile and manufactures across the country. Unsold merchandise is donated to local AIDS-related charities such as the Lifelong AIDS Alliance and Seattle Children’s Thrift Shops.
The "Gift for Life" sample sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, November 9th 2013 – January 12th 2014. The sale will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. For more information, please visit www.giftforlife.org

“Gift for Life” is a volunteer organization founded in 1992 by gift industry professionals responding to the tragic loss of talented friends and colleagues. Since then the organization has raised more than $5 million for life-saving AIDS research and education with the Seattle store raising more than $300,000. Today we are doing even more work, and every dollar we raise directly benefits DIFFA: Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS.
