Prefer to sign up for health insurance with a real, live person rather than a computer? A specially-outfitted trailer, complete with laptops connected to Washington Healthplanfinder, is traveling around Washington, and making a stop at Kent Memorial Park Building. At this event, trained enrollment experts from Public Health – Seattle & King County and their community partners will be onsite to answer questions about the new health plans available and offer financial help, as well as assist people in signing up for health coverage.
All are welcome to ask questions and learn about the new health plans. In order to enroll, individuals will need to know their birth date, social security number, and income. Legal immigrants will need to supply a passport, alien, or other immigration numbers. Assistance will be available in Spanish and several other languages.
