In a spirited celebration of the holidays, Seattle Radio Theatre offers its 14th annual live radio production, featuring music, and whiz-bang live sound effects. This year’s production brings back It’s a Wonderful Life, starring John Curley as George Bailey and Dave Ross as Clarence, with a cast of beloved Northwest personalities and Seattle Radio Theatre founding actors, including Evening Magazine’s Jim Dever, Tracey Conway, Lee Callahan, John Maynard, Dolores Rogers and Chris Topping. Rob Jones directs and plays the live music, with old-school analog, non-digital sound effects designed and performed by Curtis Takahashi. Produced and directed by Feliks Banel, Seattle Radio Theatre founding director. The performance will also be broadcast live on KIRO-FM, so plan to be in your seats no later than 7:45 pm for a little ‘studio audience warmup’–and then stick around afterwards for a post-show reception with members of the cast.
