Vogue Knitting LIVE, the "Comic-Con of the fiber arts world" is making its return to Seattle on March 14th to 16th at the Meydenbauer Convention Center. The event features:
-More than 200 classes, taught by some of the world’s knitterati (celebrity designers and instructors)
-A huge yarn marketplace, showcasing the latest yarns and knitting accessories from local companies and global brands. Visitors can stock-up on supplies for projects for years to come
-A distinctive fiber art gallery, with sculptures, paintings, and other items made entirely from fibers
-Runway fashion shows, showcasing styles that can be made by attendees
Knitters, crocheters, and other crafters have gathered at events like this in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. Says Vogue Knitting Editor in Chief Trisha Malcolm, “We selected Seattle as the next launch location because of its terrific population of artists and handcrafters. And, to pay a special tribute to our host city, we’ll be featuring an "Emerald Aisle," a display of fibers in all shades of green.
Vogue Knitting LIVE offers a full range of package options, from single-day Marketplace passes to an all-inclusive package of classes, lectures, shopping, and exclusive evening events.
