Occurs every Saturday, Friday, Thursday, Wednesday, Tuesday
All Nine Legs brings together seven artists from around the country, over several generations, and across diverse media. These painters, sculptors, writers, and composers met in snow-covered Wyoming and first discovered, as they watched the world turn white through their window panes, a shared interest in storytelling. From each artistís ambiguous recollection, the public is invited to piece together a grander narrative for how we all cross paths, spend time together and time apart.
As curator Corwin Levi describes, the exhibit will explore the "power of ambiguity", compelling viewers to "complete the puzzle (and) finish the picture" much like the riddle of the Sphinx which inspired the exhibition's title. The exhibit will feature an array of large scale installation, sculptures, paintings, and writings, as well as music and video installations composed specifically for this dynamic display.
