The hack originated from content store on iCloud, and the FBI is now investigating. Todd and Chris talk about the horrible commutes in Seattle, and ask the question, what would happen if we had to evacuate Seattle? With the massive traffic congestion we deal with in Seattle, evacuating the city could prove to be a tall task. Seattle was given a grade of F in 2006 in regards to preparedness for evacuation // Kathy Lambert of the King County Council joins the show to go over the emergency preparedness of Seattle and evacuation plans. The county has made contracts with several groups, and works with different municipalities to coordinate evacuations in the event of an emergency. A Pierce County Superior Court judge has ruled in favor of a local marijuana ban in Fife that will prohibit pot shops in the city. Judge Ronald Culpepper ruled Friday that Fife’s prohibition on marijuana-related businesses is not pre-empted by state Initiative 502. The judge did not say anything about the issue with federal law superseding state law. Todd and Chris both say cities should be able to enforce their own municipal bans. // Jesus Montero won’t play baseball again this year after a confrontation Thursday night with a senior Mariners scout. Montero got into an incident with a Senior Mariners scout, and as a result GM Jack Zduriencik announced that Montero will not play with the team for the remainder of the year. Todd and Chris talk about a troubling story where in Rotherham, England, a group of Pakistani immigrants and others of Pakistani descent deliberately targeted white teenage girls for sexual exploitation, with a religious angle to the targeting. Authorities knew of the exploitation, but were fearful of talking about it or going public with it for fear of being called racist or Islamophobic. This is a truly horrific story, and it is appalling that authorities were aware and did nothing.
