President Barack Obama made a surprise trip to Afghanistan to sign an agreement to help the Afghan military fight terrorism and become a strong military. He stands by his promise to bring troops home by 2014. Lyons says until 2024, we'll send civilians contractors over for training and money, but no military bases and forces.
