Date: Fri August 10, 2012 Show: Ross and Burbank An American sprinter broke his leg during a relay race, but did not quit. Now the U.S. has a shot at the gold. "I felt it break. I heard it. I even put out a little war cry, but the crowd was so loud you couldn't hear it. I wanted to just lie down. It felt like somebody literally just snapped my leg in half." // Runner Usain Bolt is pretty much the world's biggest rock star right now, and he knows it. And he says he has no respect for Carl Lewis. // Bobby Petrino, the disgraced University of Arkansas coach who got fired after crashing his motorcycle with his secret mistress on the back of it, got all teary-eyed on ESPN yesterday. Dave and Luke are skeptical of his remorsefulness. // A new perfume claims to not just make you smell nice, but to also help you lose weight. The fragrance supposedly releases endorphins and decreases your desire to snack. // New glasses for ultra-orthodox Jewish men blur their vision so they don’t have to have too much contact with the opposite sex. // ROSS-COLORED GLASSES: A questionable political ad blames Mitt Romney for the death of a woman whose husband was laid-off by Bain Capital. The Obama campaign is trying to distance themselves from the ad, but it looks like they're complicit. // The last will and testament of Beastie Boy Adam Yauch (AKA MCA) says his music can never be used in advertising. What does this mean for the rest of the band? // Tom Tangney is away today, but that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about movies. Dave just saw Hope Springs, and he is in love Meryl Streep.
