Man's best friend is getting caught in the middle of the religious struggle playing out in Iran. An animal shelter in Lynnwood, Washington is coming to the rescue. It all started last summer when the Iranian government tried to outlaw dogs. Under Sharia law dogs are considered dirty, and the Parliament was concerned dog ownership was a vulgar imitation of western culture.
