The Psychology In Seattle Podcast has been producing weekly podcasts about psychology since 2008. The host, Kirk Honda, is faculty at Antioch University Seattle and a licensed therapist. Kirk joins us to talk about why some people watch a disaster minute by minute just waiting, salivating for when disaster will hit. A photograph that's gone viral with a caption that reads, 'The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery will remain guarded through Hurricane Sandy' is inaccurate! However, when there's a major storm like Sandy soldiers aren't put at risk. Superstorm Sandy is has landed on the East Coast. We're hearing about being prepared for Superstorm Sandy. Jason confesses that he doesn't know ho to iron his pants. Is it the parents' responsibility to teach children the basics of life like doing your laundry, vacuuming or ironing a shirt. Jason hates Halloween, the little kiddies don't do much for him; however, he and Terry like the pets dressed in a costume.
