We will discuss Farmer Frog, a non-profit whose mission is to assist diverse populations of people in making sustainably-grown, healthy, affordable food available to everyone within their own communities. They are applying to become a Growing Power Regional Operations Training Center, the first on the west coast. Farmer Frog plans to use practices developed by Growing Power to create a model for urban agriculture in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully inspire other communities across the country.
