FIRST THINGS FIRST Seattle Mayor McGinn announced the city's new gun buyback program. People who turn in guns can get gift cards to Northwest businesses like Amazon. Over-the-top gun rights activist (and guy who started the White House petition to deport Piers Morgan) Alex Jones was on Piers Morgan’s show. Jones was less than cooperative. // Listeners react to the gun buyback. Some like it. Some think it's not fair market value. A father in China hired some virtual hitmen to kill his son's online role playing character repeatedly to discourage him from playing the game so much. // Phoenix Jones is looking for some new teammates. Apply online and be prepared to fight him as part of your tryout. He joins the show to tell Andrew who qualifies and shares some stories from some "rookies" who didn't make the cut. // Andrew, Nick, and Karen reveal their superpowers.
