(People were getting surprised when they unwittingly drove up to the stands.) They'll also have to post a sign warning the stands aren't family friendly. // Staff Sgt. Robert Bales appeared in court this morning. His lawyer says he will plead not guilty to charges that he killed 16 Afghan villagers last year. Bales refused to take part in an official review of his sanity, and the U.S. Army wants to bar Bales from using any sort of mental health defense. KIRO's Chris Sullivan joins us from the courthouse.
