FIRST THINGS FIRST People are abuzz about all of the inauguration festivities, especially Beyonce lip-synching the national anthem. Should we really be outraged? Andrew and Nick thought it was awesome and memorable moment that won't be changed by this revelation. // Michelle Obama stole the show yesterday. There's a level of fascination with this First Family that we haven't seen since perhaps the Kennedy's. The Obama's are cool. Andrew points to the national conversation on bangs as evidence that the First Lady is a style icon. // UM, THAT SOUNDS LIKE A BAD IDEA We round up things that sound like bad ideas and weigh in on whether they actually are, including a Florida mom paying for an armed guard at her kid's elementary school and a New Zealand man campaigning to neuter all of the cats in his country.
