Date: Tue January 29, 2013 Show: The John Curley Show with Andrew Walsh Should taxpayers be outraged that they paid for public officials' dry cleaning, office artwork, and Bose headphones? Andrew decides he isn't outraged, but the frivolous purchases need to stop. Listeners weigh in via email. // Andrew contrasts two stories of people who went somewhere they weren't supposed to. One is the very sad story of a man who was shot dead after following his GPS to what he thought was the house of friend he was picking up to go ice skating, but was instead the house of an elderly man with a gun. The other is the inspiring story of a group of women who started chanting "Jesus!" when a masked intruder with a gun demanded their valuables. The man ran away and was later arrested. // Are "skeeters" the new "birthers"? Maybe not, but even Andrew has his doubts that the President shoots skeet "all the time" at Camp David.
