Boeing batteries had problems before. Gabrielle Giffords urged for action on gun control at this morning's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing looking into how to curb gun violence. // Boeing had a number of reliability issues with the main batteries on its 787 long before the incidents this month grounded the entire fleet. More than 100 of the lithium-ion batteries have failed and had to be returned to the Japanese manufacturer. // A standoff continues today with a gunman who boarded an Alabama school bus and fatally shot the driver before fleeing with a young child and holing up in an underground bunker. // Seven Democrats and 12 Republicans in the state Legislature requested and received compensation totaling more than $5,600 for dry cleaning since the start of 2011. Marco Rubio easily sold Rush Limbaugh on his immigration plan. This after Limbaugh promised a tough interview with Rubio about immigration. Instead, Limbaugh told Rubio, what you are doing is admirable and noteworthy. You are recognizing reality.
