Gabby Giffords told a Senate gun control committee this morning to "be bold" as they look for ways to curb gun violence. NRA's Wayne LaPierre told the committee background checks are ineffective. // You know those new, tiny Car2Go cars parked all around Seattle? Turns out, they don't have to pay parking, and that’s making some people mad. They say the cars take up parking spaces for days at a time. Bellevue is considering a ban on roosters within city limits. Any "nonconforming fowl" currently living in Bellevue would be grandfathered in. A city councilmember worries that if you outlaw roosters, only criminals will have roosters. // Eating right is expensive. Some school districts are struggling to afford healthy lunches, as required by new federal law. Luke recalls square pizzas of his youth and Tom finds out he's consumed enough preservatives that he'll never die. // Is Volkswagen's new Super Bowl ad racist?
