She promised to continue to be an outspoken advocate of the right for every girl, every child, to be educated. // Washington state is moving toward gender neutral language. Instead of manhole and manlock, substitutes have been suggested such as utility hole and air lock serving as a decompression chamber for workers. // Some Ballard residents are upset about a new hygiene facility for the homeless in their neighborhood.
