Date: Thu February 7, 2013 Show: Luke Burbank Show DEVELOPING STORY: LA police are asking citizens to be on the lookout as a massive manhunt continues this morning for an ex-LAPD officer suspected of shooting three cops. We talk to Gary Hoffmann at KFI radio in Los Angeles. // Two granddaughters of Westboro Baptist Church founder Fred Phelps Sr. have left the church and apologize for inflicting pain. The Internet says, "bravo!" // Bankrupt Seattle real estate developer Michael Mastro and his wife Linda are under house arrest in France. But "house arrest" apparently means something different in French. The couple is free to move about their village; they’re allowed to use email and to go to the post office. They're also allowed to open a bank account. Which is good because Linda Mastro probably has some diamonds in need of a safe deposit box. // A new study says couples that drink together stay together. An Oregon man has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Government and an IRS agent he says pressured him into sex by threatening a tax penalty. Just to be clear, a man is suing after the woman in charge of his audit offered to have sex with him in exchange for a lower penalty. My turn, your turn.
