Date: Fri February 8, 2013 Show: Colin and Tom News is out that Felix is now sitting out the World Baseball Classic. The guys wonder if this tournament is something that should continue so star players don’t risk getting hurt during these exhibition games that could cost the team that pays them use of their services. The Angels have a lot of huge contracts that could turn them into a “dumpster fire” of a team in 4 years, while the Rangers have spent their money more wisely. Russell Wilson or Colin Kaepernick? Who would you want to build your team around? Colin and Matt both go with Wilson by a nose, but both are talented and should be good for a long time. There are just a couple of things that Kaepernick comes up short on. Colin and Matt call “Grampa Wassell” in Chicago, hoping he’s had a few drinks. Alas, he was about to hop into bed. They talk to him about several football players, most notably Doug Flutie and former Seahawk David Greene to be knuckleball pitchers.
