Citing health concerns, Pope Benedict XVI gave his two-weeks notice this morning. He is the first pope to resign in 600 years. The announcement came as a surprise to even his closest aides. A baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple is the subject of a state investigation. Students, parents, and a teacher at a high school in Indiana have come together in support for a "traditional prom" that prohibits gays from attending. // An 82-year-old man form tackled a 27-year-old burglary suspect who was trying to escape police.
