Hosts Matt Pitman and Shannon Drayer talk about the big news of the day, Felix Hernandez signing a new 7-year deal with the Mariners. Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik comes on to talk about the new Felix Hernandez contract, which can make him a Mariner through 2019. He talks about the effect this can have on the rest of players around baseball on how they perceive Seattle. Director of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jeff Idelson talks about why no players were elected to the Hall this year and says he expects a huge induction class next year. Mariners bench coach Robby Thompson talks about last year being a vital year for the young players and how they have made adjustments. Matt and Shannon go over who would be on the Mariners Mount Rushmore.
