Date: Tue February 12, 2013 Show: The John Curley Show with Andrew Walsh Paul Constant of The Stranger joins the show to analyze the State of the Union address. He would have liked to see more of what Obama offered in his Inaugural speech. Paul thinks Obama framed most of his points in ways that most Americans can agree with. This made Rubio's response sound more divisive than if Obama was fierier in his speech. // Andrew plays highlights from the State of the Union address. President Obama emphasized the need to help the middle class rebuild and gain strength. // The most rousing part of the President's speech was when he evoked the names of victims of recent shootings in urging Congress to at least vote on gun control changes. He also announced the coming end of the war in Afghanistan. // More details on the (probable) end of the hunt for Christopher Dorner.
