Date: Thu February 14, 2013 Show: Andrew Walsh Christopher Dorner's captives recounted what it was like. Dorner repeatedly told them that he would not kill them. He stuck to his manifesto. // It's Valentine's Day, so let's look at some international love trends. Some men in Japan are professing their love at the top of their lungs in front of crowds and families. Andrew asks his girlfriend if she would like it if he did that. // Olympic hero Oscar Pistorius, the Blade Runner, got arrested earlier today under suspicion of shooting and killing his girlfriend at his house. The early storylines pointed to mistaken identity. Pistorius may have thought she was an intruder. The local police have denied that. // WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT Producer Nick Jarin rounds up the stories that are making him think this week, including Mayor Bloomberg’s lightening of marijuana possession punishments in NYC (and its civil rights implications) and the Washington legislature is weighing a GMO labeling initiative like the one that just failed in California.
