A new lead investigator has been appointed in the murder case against South African athlete Oscar Pistorius. Detective Hilton Botha has been replaced by Lt. Gen. Vinesh Moonoo after it was discovered that Botha is facing seven charges for attempted murder for shooting up a minibus taxi. // State lawmakers are considering a proposal that would increase the state gas tax by 10 cents over five years, eventually reaching a total of 47.5 cents per gallon. There would also be a car-tab tax and a $25 sales fee on bicycles worth $500. // County Executive Aaron Reardon is resigning, effective at the end of May. Chris Sullivan has the details on this breaking story and he joins Dave and Andrew with the latest.// Seattle police say they won't turn on those controversial security cameras installed along the waterfront until questions about privacy are answered. Also, the police department admits they could have done a better job educating the public about the cameras, which were installed without public input.
